Speaking of aged cheese, my ex-wife and I once took some by plane to give to relatives on the other side of the country. It triggered some explosive sensor in the TSA's equipment and they made us take our bags completely apart. When they found the cheese, they put it under their special sensor and it rang the bells.
So beware of aged cheese! It's a danger to our democracy!
I actually like the USPS. I've had more trouble with FedEx and UPS delivering stuff to the wrong address.
I must admit the USPS is pretty awesome, that is if you pay for the higher tier service. I get packages 2,500 miles away in three days, and still largely intact, which is effing amazing! Perhaps the postal service might be sclerotic in Europe? I don't know.
