are there still things the govt does not want us to buy? please someone post a list so I can run to the store!

We cannot buy many common chemicals anymore, at least not in retail.

I know about ammo - that is one thing I won't buy. I also don't use many chemicals as most are poisonous. Dad complains he can not get any herbicides. I clean the house with peroxide and a vinegar solution, and catch bugs with glue boards and diatomaceous earth. No chemical meds either, only herbs and minerals.

On a related note it might be worth learning how to make vinegar and soap.

I am very worried that the kids buy sweet drinks that are laced with chemical substitutes for sugar. OK, sugar is high in calories and our kids don't really need them but the chemical substitutes like aspartame are horrible and toxic and seem to be in everything these days!
