Using that logic, me thinks you are actually feeding the cat.

If the Biblical deity demands 10%, and Big Bird is collecting the same... does that mean Big Bird is 'god' to the avian creatures?

Because we know 'government' see itself as the true 'Divine' and thus demands much more... ;-)

It might also turn out that simple theft (“10% for the big guy”) is better than full-scale government.

I thought they were getting cut off completely?

Well, yes.

I should probably pay less attention to the metrics and just make stuff; but there are some stats (in particular, outside traffic) that I still want to check from time to time — but I probably shouldn’t do that either.

Unlike some of our common friends, I however don’t subscribe to the idea that there is some sort of secret war on small creators; it’s just a late-stage Red Queen race.

I have no idea who you may have pissed off. It certainly wasn't me.

In this comment, I think we're talking past each other. You're talking about subscribers and I'm talking about Sesame Street 😝

Ah yes. I wasn’t following the news, but this came out in May:

I need to tell Crow, she’ll find this news promising :D
