I've always thought green tea tasted like grass clippings, so if it was just picked from behind somebody's garage, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Tea is what I imagine oak leaves in a mud puddle would taste like. Coffee, good, strong, black coffee is where its at.

some tea is indeed an insult to the taste buds, specially the paper bags. Whole tea lives taste much better. Coffee makes me nervous, have not drunk any in 15 years.

Cousin asks Rat, “Does the placebo effect, enhance his empirical observations ?”

Rat's avatar

«Does placebo effect extend to smart pills?» is a quite interesting question.

Yes, green tea tastes like grass clippings.

So true ! I got a yard full of wild stuff and eat whatever is edible and tasty ! Chickweed tastes way better young, than the iceberg salad you got at the store. All seeds, pits, stones from vegetables are thrown out there, and I got now 2 adult peach trees that have given fruit. Not as big and nice, but very taste and homegrown, without pesticides. Careful with grass clippings, grass is not digestible to human stomachs! And oak leaves aren't, either LOL. Dr.Geoff Pain examined some supplements (Ashwagandha was one of them) and I remember how at first it worked so well, and the last bottle did nothing. Turns out that recently they replaced the expensive herb with God knows what ! No wonder it did not work. Placebo did not work for me so it seems!

Mr. Rat, your graphics are becoming quite accomplished! You aren't about ready to, heaven forbid, paywall us are you? Looking very professional.

Thank you! I still can't draw but I've learned to hide it better. :)

At most, I've been considering a 24-hour paywall where paid subscribers receive new stuff a day earlier than the rest — but everyone still receives one piece a day. Even this isn't yet going forward because I'm not sure how to unlock comments.

I am a little surprised that Rat and Cousin have got a garage! Are we ever going to see their car? Or do they consider Rat's Human's garage theirs by proxy?

Sometimes I wonder what's the relationship between marketing and drugs.

Does marketing cause people to trust drugs, or does consuming drugs cause people to trust marketing?

What would be the world like without marketing, but a lot of drugs?
