Excellent example. I find AI to be somewhat useful for some tasks, but for researching not so much. It's always very polite and willing to admit when it's wrong, but unless you already know enough about the subject (in which case what's the point of consulting AI?), pretty useless.
At least Grok provides its sources. I notice that usually it only gives about four websites, if that. From my admittedly superficial observations, in that case it's not much better than somebody who believes everything they read on the Internet.

Unfortunately, lately Grok started having a preference for Wikipedia (which, of course, also provides its sources, but it’s an extra step).
edit: and in this case, Grok provided links to the same article on Wikipedia and mobile Wikipedia. :D

Lazy AI is definitely a problem... laziness leads AI to misidentify 'bad guys'.
But that's a personal beef LOL
