Pardon, but which politician/camel associate might this be? The Texas GOP congresswoman Kay Granger seems to have been in a "memory care" nursing home for the last 6 months or so with no one replacing her in Washington to represent her district? But there are no camel farming tie ins to her I can see.
Although the Texas Hill country WAS the home of the US Army Camel Corps, which existed from about 1855 to 1865 before their funding was killed off (investing in Camels for US Army logistics in the Southwest was a personal project of the former Senator & Secretary of War under President Franklin Pierce, Jefferson Davis- who was in bad odor for having committed treason, being president of the Confederacy & all).
I must need more coffee? This still makes no sense to me, the blurry, pixilated (and partially hump obscured) smiling face in graphic doesn't ring any bells either. And none of my camel friends will admit to knowing anything either? They just look away and spit when I mention "politician".
It's a parallel story, probably happening in a parallel universe.
It might possibly inform us as to how exactly similar stories in our universe unfolded.
In short, it's a roundabout way to suggest that politicians found somewhere might have been held there against their will because people didn't believe them.
I've asked Santa Claus to neuter our politicians, as well as make them prove they're not camels. You can't take too many precautions in this life. Better safe than sorry.
