Human's Human: — Evil creatures have a gathering tonight.
Human's Human: — ...goblins, will-o'-the-wisp, hydras, swamp monsters, skunk apes, kikimoras, all the swamp creatures.
Rat: — This appears to be about the United Nations as Congress has already been in session for a while.
Fact check: sadly, Rat is mistaken. United Nations sessions typically open on the second Tuesday of September, so this story must be about something else altogether.
On the positive side — today is the only Friday the 13th this year. (There can be one to three every year, for a total of 688 times over a 400-year cycle.)
There's more swamp creatures in D.C. than just Congress...
The way Rat is looking all intent, like he's working things out, whilst Cousin appears to be utterly enraptured with the story... LOL
