Cousin infers that Rat's generalization is totalizing. His error happened because Cousin suspects that Rat is being paid secretly by the Fat Cats from the Association Against Feline Slander, when in reality Rat is being openly paid by the Association of Cats For a Nuanced Use of Words, which is secretly funded by the Association Against Feline Slander, but no one needs to know that.

I feel let down by Cousin and his hasty generalization, which amounts to fact-free conspiratorial paranoia. What an error! Errors like these are a slippery slope toward a decivilizational process.
