[CNN Science] Scientists are cracking the code of interspecies communication. Is that a good thing?
Transcript:
TV Human: — AI has decoded animal language, so we can now go on and interview this rat...
Rat: — How much taxpayer money did you guys spend on this?
TV Human: — Alas, we don’t understand this particular dialect… we’ll be back after a short commercial break!
On a more serious note, pattern classification is one thing; correlating these patterns with real-world phenomena is a completely different one.

It is beyond questioning to me that animals can talk, not only to their own species, but also among species. When there is danger some bird notices it and gives the alarm and all of a sudden the whole forest is quiet. When one of my animals caught something, the other 2 almost immediately know it. A dog and 2 cats, but they can communicate, I am sure. Specially if it is about food.
Must be millions of wild dialects . A forever task !
