An underground animal welfare program can be fatal - just ask PNut & Frank.

The government would hang it inside of a bird cage. Birdseed replenished by an avian refueling contractor for $7000 a pound. Door activated with government issued rfid beak implant. Seed spillage directed to congressional stock trading accounts.

Everything works, for at least some people, at least some of the time.

We shouldn’t worry, though.

The government violates their own regulations all the time !

That’s usually when they need to actually get something real done…and then they often use a contractor who can be let go after the job is done. Contractors can also be used as scapegoats if something goes wrong.

In the UK, you have to register your backyard chickens and pigeons. So I wouldn't be surprised if you also have to register your birdfeeder.
