Cousin: — We’re running low on jokes about politicians! Do you have any left?
Rat: — I recall a story about politicians changing a light bulb, that turned out to be just a joke.
Rat: — Alas, most other silly stories appear to be factually true.
Of course, the light bulb story had to be a joke. Changing light bulbs is a productive activity after all.
Apart from that, it’s getting harder and harder to compete with reality. Thank you for your patience, to all humans who have chosen to stay with us during these challenging times.

Oh, I'd be happy if more stories about politicians were merely silly. Too often, "vile and loathsome" seem most appropriate.
