Rat: — Did you once say there were too many politicians?
Human: — Yes, we probably could live with half of the current number, or even fewer.
Rat: — I’ll need your help copying this letter a couple hundred times.
Letter: EVERYTHING IS EXPOSED. RUN!
Rat probably overestimates how easily politicians can be scared. Politics is a cult, but instead of all the things cults usually promise, the grand prize is impunity. And unlike most cults, this particular one occasionally even delivers.
One can live with half a tumor - but why?
