No idea. Never heard of him. I'm American, wherein the vast majority of Fouts are from a small region in Ohio. The name is originally Swiss German. The Dutch think it's hilarious, as there it means "error".

Okay, I never heard the name before and I once lived in Canton and then the Muskingum Valley in Ohio. Oh well, thanks for the info.
