The mini-documentary notes that they work diligently when they're assured of regular, fair (in rat terms) compensation. This might be worth introducing to human workplace relations.

Fascinating information. Rats, you have amazing distant relatives.

The horrific part of war, something Princes Diana was advocating against right up to the point she was murdered. Most people are unaware that POW's are often used to do this "job" being forced to march across mine fields. War is a racket and should be opposed always, never glorified.

Fascinating. I was very relieved to learn they don't weigh enough to trigger the mines.

They’re aren’t heavy enough to trigger it.

daisy downer to the rescue

if i told you to go dig over the top of a mine

just a little bit

placed by some war slave in a hurry

would you have a beer

or would you be a dear

i am sorry friend

but they could have had those rats dropping tic-tacks

it's rat murdering dogs

all the way down

They would eat the TicTacs ;)

Since it takes about a year to train a rat, I don't think they would be profligately expending them.

Of course, they have value as an investment.

But they are people, and so are we.

This abuse is everywhere inside the Empire.

We treat people exactly the same.

If you want it in writing, join the army.

-and you are right about the tic-tak
