it is very hard to legally emigrate to the US. I know because I did. My husband at the time, told me it is much easier to fly to Mexico, cross the border, and just live your life here. But of course, you can not fly back to the homeland like that. It was also quite costly, in all I spent about 3000$ (this includes nights at hotel when I had to be there at 8 in the morning, living 2 hours away and having to search where it was - in an empty warehouse)

I don't understand why our politicians (Europe + USA) do not explain to their populations precisely what is hampering them from halting immigration.
In 2018 the United Nations produced a Migration Compact which everyone is supposed to obey.
