Rat doesn’t know all the intricacies of money creation, but then, neither do most humans. What’s worse – more and more often it looks as if bankers don’t know what they’re doing either.
Something I've always found kind of amusing (sort of, maybe...) is that fractional reserve banking ultimately relies on trust, but the banksters themselves are typically the least trustworthy people you'll ever find.
We give the banking industry far too much freedom of action. Yet they still scream “over regulation”. Then they crater the economy and run crying to Uncle Sam. So are they just ignorant or malevolent? I know which one I believe.
