How can you know you weren’t supposed to eat all the cheese? There was no sign posted!
Cousin obviously doesn’t spend enough time on the internet, or he would know that supposedly unwritten rules are regularly discussed in writing…
Rat, help Cousin. He'll be writing for the rest of his days. It's an exercise in futility. If ever he thinks he has the rules all written down, they will all change anyway.
Poor cousin, please help him break the unwritten rules as if they were actually important they'd be written down especially if others break them and manipulate him into then breaking them. Entrapment is bad and nobody wants cousin in a trap. 😁
