Sometimes I wonder if all those think tanks and other policy lunatic asylums get their inspiration from the snuff and porn films. Human's musings are much saner in comparison to that.
Once upon a time, there was a discussion regarding the translation of 'think tank' into Latvian, and one of the suggestions floated was 'muldozers', a portmanteau of 'buldozers' (bulldozer, obviously) and 'muldēt' (to talk nonsense, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/muld%C4%93t).
Unfortunately, our leading linguists (not very cunning) went with 'domnīca' (lit. "thinkery", even more of a misnomer).
The only war problems America has are all at other parts of the world. That humanity wars against humanity is natural. Not even we Americans offered world peace, just less wars, small wars to head off big ones. As we 🇺🇸 contract to our own soil you’ll see what we meant. You’ll have to gossip about… peace.
In any case victory and a long peace has defeated us… and ruined the rest of you.
Repeat after me; You're either with us or against us, we need to fight them over there instead of here, they hate us for our freedoms, they will literally come marching on our capitol, they're a threat to democracy, and it's for national security!
