Rat: — I haven’t seen our Human for more than a week now.
Cousin: — He’s working longer hours to balance his budget.
Rat: — It doesn’t seem to work. Spending money must be too easy these days.
In the era of brick-and-mortar stores, one could at least save some money by working until they were all closed. It doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Funny thing about human nature, every increase of income is met with an equal increase, or better, in spending, with the foremost change is they will choose to eat better foods.
